When tasked with updating a neglected mid-century modern home off Mulholland Drive we jumped at the chance. It’s not often you have creative clients willing to rip out additions and re-discover how the space was originally intended to be used. With some forensic inspection we discovered that multiple stair flights had been awkwardly added during a remodel in the 1980s. We removed the stair and replaced the incongruous materials, revealing a gorgeous, light filled and architecturally lively split level home for a growing family.
